Day 1: Joyful Thursday
The day 1 of LWYD is such an exhausting day for me because me and my co=pilgrims have been waiting for the ID which is our gate pass in LWYD activities and BAG which contains the pilgrims guide.

We really enjoyed the different presentations of each districts in St. Francis Ocean Park. After the whole presentation, the district 1 announce as the champion. We also enjoyed one of the highlights of the event which is the fireworks display.

The name Naga comes from the trees abundant on the place before, the Narra, a national tree. It is called Naga in Cebuano.

Naga a new progressive city, is located 21km at the southeastern part of the province of Cebu. It is only a 35min Ride from Cebu city. It is composed of 28 barangays, 10 of which are located at the costal areas including the 5 districts of the Poblacion and the rest are in the mountain. The city is bounded on the north by the municipality of Minglanilla, on the west by the city of Toledo, on the south by the municipality of San Fernando and on the east by Bohol Strait.

Naga is proud of its tourist attractions; the 180-year old Naga Parish Church which is currently the Archdiocesan Shrine of St. Francis Ocean Park and Baywalk. Which features the best lamppost in town, and its luminous festivity, the Dagitab Festival which is celebrated during the Christmas season.
