St Francis of Assisi of Naga, Cebu as it was until her elevation in October 2007 as the archdiocesan of St. Francis of Assisi in the archdiocesan of Cebu is the third daughter parish of San Nicolas Parish. Established on June12, 1829 by the Spanish Augustinian friars.

Like other parish which blooms as time flies, the archdiocesan shrine of St. Francis of Assisi moves prosperity owning her progress to the faithful Nagahanons, the parish priests and the present team of pastors who materially and spiritually transformed the parish to what it is now.
